Answering evaluation Q1

The first evaluation question i need to answer is 'In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?'

This question is asking me to look at what features of my documentary are seen a number of times in other videos, in the case of developing forms and conventions or what does my production use where as other products may not, challenging conventions.

This question also came up after my AS production and i answered it in the style of a PowerPoint presentation, looking at the key features of my production and compared it to other professional products.

I found out that in my production we more developed forms and conventions of real media products instead of challenging them. I have looked at other real media products this time around and looked at what i can develop but more importantly what i can challenge.

When considering what way to answer this question i looked at other methods to answer this question such as doing a directors commentary or being interviewed about the way i used and challenged conventions when creating my product. In the end though, i decided to stick with what i used lats year and will again use a PowerPoint to answer the question.
